Dog house training tips and techniques

When house training a dog, and your dog does something tight, it’s important to always follow up with a friendly and approving “Good boy” (or “girl”). You do not have to repeat it ten times. Once is enough, although you could possibly repeat it if you have the impression that your dog has not heard you.
When you’re just getting started with your dog house training, say the word whenever your dog relieves itself on its own initiative. Later, take it to a dog-walking area and say it at the moment your dog is sniffing around, while you reward it if it really does something. After some time, your dog will itself make the connection between the request and its deed, so that it is enough for you in future to say the word at the dog-walking area.
